Things To Do As An Sunnyvale Home Owner This Weekend

What to do as an Sunnyvale real estate owner the weekend of September 21 to September 23

Posted on September 20, 2012 by Nikki.

Enjoy the benefits of owning Sunnyvale real estate, and find something fun to do this weekend. It won’t be difficult, and here are just three of your many options.

1. UFC 152: Jon Jones vs. Vitor Belfort
If you are a fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, you know that the card on Saturday night features not one but two championship fights. Jon Jones is defending his light heavyweight belt against challenger Vitor Belfort, and Joseph Benavidez is taking on Demetrious Johnson for the flyweight title. If you feel like watching the fights with a bunch of other fans, check it out at the Firehouse Bar and Grill in downtown Sunnyvale. There is a cover charge but the food is delicious.

2. iPhone 5
Unless you’ve been under a rock, you know that Apple has announced the latest version of their iPhone line, the iPhone 5. Among other things, it has a bigger screen and a faster processor. It will be in stores this Friday, but be prepared for ultra-long lines and possible sell-outs if you plan on getting it in-store. However, you can avoid the crowds and save some money if you are willing to live with the older iPhone 4S or iPhone 4.

3. Frank Caliendo Stand-Up Comedy
If you’re an NFL fan, you’ve surely seen Frank Caliendo’s impressions on the Fox NFL pregame show with Terry Bradshaw, Jimmy Johnson, and the rest of the crew. He will be at the San Jose Improv this Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets are $30 and there is a 2 drink minimum. Check out one of his YouTube clips here.

These are just three things that might keep you busy this weekend as a Sunnyvale home owner. There are lots more, as always. Even just enjoying beautiful California weather makes for a great, relaxing weekend.
