What are you going to watch this Christmas?

Do you spend a lot of time with family or friends during Christmas watching movies? If so, here is a reminder of some non-classic movies you might want to consider…

…if you are just looking for some laughs
1. Elf
Will Ferrell stars in this comedy. He plays an elf from the north pole who learns he’s a human. He travels to New York City to meet his biological father, and he spread Christmas cheer to even the cynical NYC crowd.

2. Four Christmases
Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn star in this comedy about a couple visiting all four of their divorced parents in one day.

3. Bad Santa
This comedy stars Billy Bob Thornton, Bernie Mac, and Lauren Graham.. Billy Bob plays a conman trying to rob stores on Christmas Eve, and the movie plays out all the obstacles he runs into.

…if you are looking for action.
1. Die Hard
Surely you’ve seen this one. If not, just rent it immediately! This classic action flick stars Bruce Willis as he battles villains in a building during a Christmas party.

2. Reindeer Games
This action movie stars Ben Affleck, Gary Sinise, and Charlize Theron. It’s a story about mistaken identity, con-men, a casino heist, and of course, Christmas.

3. P2
This low budget indie movie stars Rachel Nichols (who later became Scarlett in GI Joe). She plays a businesswomen on her way to her sister’s Christmas party before getting kidnapped by the parking garage attendant at her workplace.

…if you are watching with your significant other.
1. Love Actually
This movie features and ensemble cast including Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, Emma Thompson, Bill Nighy, Colin Firth, and Keira Knightley. It chronicles the lives of eight different couples during a crazy month before Christmas.

2. The Holiday
This romance comedy stars Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, and Jack Black. It’s a story about two women from different countries who trade homes during Christmas, and they each fall in love with a local guy.
